A workshop for tertiary qualified health professionals working in acute, residential or community settings, particularly those responsible for assessing cognition and creating care plans for people living with dementia.

At the end of the workshop you will be able to:

  • Understand the underpinning theory of the HDS-R
  • Demonstrate ability to assess people with dementia using the HDS-R
  • Combine the results of HDS-R assessments with a Possibility Oriented Approach to provide person-centred interventions
